In 2007 I began designing pamphlets, zines, album art, & show posters in Cleveland, Ohio.

From 2010-2019 I served as art director + book designer / maker for Monster House Press—a publisher + reading series in Columbus, Ohio & Bloomington, Indiana. During my time at MHP, I learned the ins/outs of how to design for a publishing house—from author press kits to promotional tour posters to websites to web/print ads + of course: books! I also learned how to navigate the oft overwhelming world of printers, bookmaking, publishing, + distribution. I am happy to offer my skills & knowledge of the design, book, & print industries to my clients.

In 2017 I began freelancing full-time, offering my design services to a wider audience. I have been grateful to become connected with some incredible people through my work & I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.

As a designer I am diligent, meticulous, caring, & minimalist. I believe in space + synchronicity. The fonts + words we use to represent language + meaning are inherently imagistic and ideological, carrying in them a code and portal that reveals their trace or signature. I also believe these traces can be thwarted and reinvented endlessly. When I design, I access an unconscious world/vision to pull what is calling-to-become into this world in which our bodies live.

My main goal is to help steward your project from the realm of idea into physical reality with care, joy, & grace. My favorite feeling is when a client says I pulled their vision for their project right out of their head and made it a real thing. I am about this kind of careful listening + manifestation. Anything you might need for your next project, I can help make it a reality.

I’ve designed for many brilliant artists, writers, musicians, presses, businesses, universities, + more, including—
